THE NEXT 8 WEEK CEC STARTS IN

A lot of people that join the challenge come to us looking to reduce their body fat or improve their performance. They have tried every diet going, they already ‘eat healthy’, exercise regularly but still struggle to get in the shape they desire.




They have not found a nutrition plan that works for them, a plan with solid guidelines that can be tailored to suit their lifestyle. A plan that takes into account your daily routine; shift patterns; or even what to eat while on the road.



That is the main reason why the Clean Eating Challenge was designed. We believe that we are experts in nutrition & fitness and that you can be your own expert, combining our education programme with knowledge of your personal circumstances means together we can find the best solution for you to achieve your goals.


We also believe that there is no "one size fits all" answer to nutrition, but if you eat fresh, nutritious foods in the right amounts, at the right times then you will get the results you want. We combine education, motivation and inspiration to help you create the future that you wish.

Pre Challenge – Objectives

Objectives for this week

  1. Get organised for the upcoming 8 weeks by reading the pre challenge booklet and watching the pre challenge video.
  2. Prepare your training plan to include a minimum of 4 hours of exercise.
  3. Prepare your kitchen for success by making sure your have the correct equipment, food and have cleared your cupboard of any processed food.
  4. Read through the testing booklet ready for the start of the challenge.

Pre Challenge – Key Facts

Key Facts

The challenge has been designed to teach you how to eat in order to improve health, performance and lose body fat.

You must work through the challenge 1 step at a time.

Things you must have done for the start of the challenge:

  • Read and watch the pre challenge PDF and Video.
  • Prepared your kitchen.
  • Ordered your food for the start of the challenge.
  • Read and signed the 10 commandments and found yourself a witness to help keep you accountable over the 8 weeks.
  • Filled out the Training timetable with 4 hours of non-negotiable exercise (a WOD would class as one hour).

What we suggest are guidelines and must be tailored to suit your lifestyle in order for this to become a sustainable change.

If you follow the 10 commandments as close as possible you will do fantastic over the 8 weeks.

Print out your tracking sheet and place it somewhere that can be seen regularly.

The first thing that we will start with is body composition and fitness testing, read through the testing guide and be sure on what you need to do on the first day of the challenge.

Make sure you have joined our Clean Eating Challenge Facebook group as this is where all questions will be answered, recipes shared and you will be kept accountable by other members on the challenge

GROUP CHALLENGE

The group challenge is ran at CrossFit Nottingham. It begins with body composition and fitness testing which is done together, and continues with weekly accountability sessions.

Being part of the team, and encouraging each other on your clean eating journey is a great way of bonding, and leads to amazing results for everyone.

HOW MUCH IS THE GROUP CHALLENGE?

ONLINE CHALLENGE

The online challenge was developed to enable people in other boxes complete the 8 week CEC and have access to a clean eating challenge coach wherever they are in the world!

The online challenge can be done individually or with a group of friends, family, work colleagues, sports clubs, as long as you have access to the internet. It follows the same structure as the group challenge using email and an online Facebook group to keep you accountable.

Once you’ve completed the 8 week online challenge you also have the option for ongoing coaching to really boost your understanding of good nutrition.
